UGM PRESS SIGNS MOU OF COOPERATION WITH 5 UGM FACULTY LIBRARIES

UGM Press signed MoU with 5 UGM Faculty Libraries which are Faculty of Biology Library, Faculty of Pharmacy Library, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Cultural Science library, and faculty of Geography library in order to cooperate in spreading the source of information. UGM Press had signed the MoU with Biology Library, Faculty of Pharmacy Library, and Faculty of Social and Political Science on 14th January 2020, and with Faculty of Cultural Science library, and faculty of Geography library on 17th January 2020. So far UGM Press has published about thousands title of books which can be references for students especially UGM Students. Therefore, to support UGM students in finding high-quality references, UGM Press always creates innovations which can make UGM students easier in finding the references, and one of them is by doing cooperation with some faculty libraries in UGM to provide UGM Press books in those 5 libraries. This innovation was created because there are lots of students who think that faculty library should provide the books which published by UGM Press because there are lots book which written by the UGM lecturers so that it can be their references in studying. 

           

Rusna Nur Aini, A.Md., a librarian of Faculty of Biology UGM said that She very appreciates this cooperation, "Hopefully with this cooperation it can make students easier to find high-quality book references which published by UGM Press in their faculty libarary without having to go to UGM Press Showroom" Rusna said.

           

UGM Press Manager, Dr. I Wayan Mustika expressed his appreciation and his expectation about this cooperation in the future, "I very appriciate about this cooperation, UGM Press and I hope with this cooperation it is not only make students easier to find high-quality books which published by UGM Press but also increase the passion and enthusiasm of lecturers in writting books. In addition, the aim of this activity is also to educate Indonesian people through the books which give lots of knowledge and published by UGM Press" I Wayan said. (Gesang Anita CW/UGM Press)
