UB PRESS CONDUCTS BECHMARKING STUDY TO UGM PRESS

Penerbit Universitas Brawijaya (UB Press) conducted benchmarking study to UGM Press on Thursday (15/08). UB Press was welcomed by manager of UGM Press, Dr. I Wayan Mustika, in UGM Press meeting room. DR. Wayan expressed his pleased and gratitute to UB Press for choosing UGM Press as university book publisher to be visited.

"This is our pleasure to welcome 19 representatives from UB Press. We do hope that from this visit we can share lots of information so that it can help both UB Press and UGM Press to increase our work performance such as in management system, publishing, production and marketing."

Director of UB Pres, Prof. Dr. Ir. Trinil Susilawati, M.S. said that the aim of the benchmarking study is to strengthen the teamwork between university book publishers and professionalism of university book publishers.

 "UGM Press has been recognized as one of the best university book publishers in Indonesia, UGM Press's effort to become a productive publisher which prints lost of books with good quality has succeeded in bringing UGM's reputation to be better both nationally and internationally".

In the meeting which lasted for 3 hours, there was also a discussion which talks about the UGM Press and BPP UGM organizational system, discussing the manuscript, production, and marketing. (Irwan / UGM Press)
