STUDENT HUNTS UGM'S PRESS BOOK ON IIBF 2018

Students and the public looked enthusiastic when stopping by to UGM Press booth on Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) at Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday (16/9/2018).

The visitors brought up many books, moreover, there was a big sale everywhere. Aulia (21), a visitor from Depok, collecting books to get with her. She with her friends feel happy because of this event. "I'm looking for a textbook, I found it, and also get a discount. what a lucky day! I know this special sale from social media, Instagram @ugmpress, and also my friends who recommend UGM Press," said Aulia.

The same thing also did by dr. Boyke Dian Nugraha. Sexologist who show up on many television channels looked for a book at UGM Press booth. "I have already bought three books, and I think I want more," he explained. In his view, UGM Press's presence is crucial therefore he taking his time to go to UGM Press booth. 

According to Widodo, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the Manager of Publishing and Publication UGM (BPP UGM), BPP's job is to develop a university publisher who accepted in national or international. To reach that goal, we need to do publication, socialization, and promotion to introduce the paper then the public can know better. IIBF 2018 is the best event to make this goal come true.

"We also introduce publishing team from UGM Press on Saturday (15/9/2018). Writer candidates looked passionate when joining script consultation sessions," said Widodo.
