PKN STAN CONDUCTS BENCMARKING STUDY TO UGM PRESS

In the aim of managing their university book publishing, Politeknik Keuangan Negara (PKN) STAN book publishing team conducted benchmarking study to UGM Press, (Tuesday, 16th of April 2019). Roby Syaiful Ubed as Chairman of the PKN STAN Publishing Delegation said that currently the PKN STAN is conducting improvements in the  publishing fields. A benchmarking  study to UGM Press was conducted to study the flow of managing book publishing within the government.

"This benchmarking study is indeed very important for the management of PKN STAN publishing. We chose UGM Press because UGM Press has played a very strategic role to support Tridharma's activities, especially in the field of publishing academic work, " explained Roby.

This event took place in UGM Press meeting room, the delegations from PKN STAN Publishing was welcomed by UGM Press manager, Dr. I Wayan Mustika, along with the Coordinators of the Publishing, Office and Finance, Printing, Marketing and Warehouse Division.

At that time, also explained the related flow of publishing management that has been carried out by UGM Press in developing academic publishers to be able to produce high quality opus. Dr. I Wayan Mustika said that UGM Press continues to strive to produce quality academic books and become a reference, both on a national and international scale. This year, UGM Press developed the UGM Press Publishing Information System (SIGAP) for ease of publishing management.

"Hopefully, SIGAP can provide great benefits for the entire academic community, especially the writer and the publishing department to be able to know the progress of the manuscript and others," explained Dr. Wayan (Irwan / UGM Press, Editor: Gesang Anita CW)
