BOOK DISCUSSION: POEM-PHOTOGRAPHY WITH THE THEME

Book discussion about poem-photography with the theme "Kepundan Kasih" which made by Novi Indrastuti (poetess) and Harno Depe (photographer) was held on Sunday, 17th September 2018 at MIPA UGM Auditorium Faculty, Sekip Utara, Yogyakarta. The theme was picked from two things that are literary different but can create something amazing.

Ons Untoro, as poet and manager Sastra Bulan Purnama Tembi Rumah Budaya will be the speaker to discuss the book and Dra. Sriyanti, M.Si, will be the moderator. she is a poetess and lecturer in Universitas Diponegoro Semarang who also graduated from Chemistry FMIPA UGM Department. This book was published by UGM Press, as well as two previous books: Anthology Poetry Photography.

In this third edition, has green and journey literature concept. Green literature is a literature which focuses on natural and environment aspect can be associated with an effort to save the earth. One of them is through cultural movement, especially with the poet. Literature has eminence and great potential for waking up a human conscience, without propaganda. Both of them teach the meaning of life through language and aesthetic visualization of nature. This book offers a unique and creative form of art exploration by combining two different media in one masterpiece with one purpose and delivering a message with attractive ways to the audience. 

Prof. Dr. Harno Dwi Pranowo, M.Si, better known as Harno Depe, he is a lecturer on Chemistry MIPA UGM. He also teaches student who likes photography in Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Fotografi UGM (UFO) makes him an expert in photography. "Nice photograph should be enjoyed by the public through social media, book, or electronic device," said Harno Depe. In this book, Harno Depe took plentiful photos not only in Yogyakarta or Java but also in Flores, Lombok, Bali, Wakatobi, Banyuwangi, moreover, he took photos in Europe such as Innsbruck, Austria, Netherland, and Bratislava. 

Novi Indrastuti writes a poem to complete Depe's photograph. Novi gives another color to Depe's masterpiece. Novi Indrastuti is a lecturer on Bahasa Indonesia Literature Faculty of Language and Cultural Studies UGM. Before "Kepundan Kasih" two previous books about poem-photography have been released, such as ‘Di Balik Lensa Kata’ and 'Bingkai Kehidupan'. Beside it, her poems were widely published with other poets. Novi loves poetry with all of her heart. She took her Bachelor and Master program by bringing out a poem as her paper. She took Doctoral Program in South Korea. She graduated from Kyungnam University, South Korea. "Until now I still teach Bahasa Indonesia Literature especially about poetry theory," said Novi.

Beside it, there will be poetry-reading by Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng. PhD., (UGM Rector), Prof.Dr. Triyono, S.U. (The Dean of MIPA) Prof.Dr Harno Dwi Pranowo, M/Si., Dr. Novi Indrastuti, M.Hum, Wahjudi Djaja S.S., M.Pd., and Sitoresmi Prabuningrat and performance from Sanggar Lincak FIB UGM.
