Muhammad Rum

Muhammad Rum is a junior lecturer at the Department of International Relations Universitas Gadjah Mada. He obtained a Master degree in ASEAN Studies at the Asia-Europe Institute, University of Malaya. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Graduate School of International Development, Nagoya University, and currently finalizing his dissertation entitled The Politics of Disasters in ASEAN. He teaches Southeast Asian related courses at the undergraduate level such as Governments and Politics of Southeast Asia, International Relations in Southeast Asia, and Indonesian Social and Political History/System.
