Prof. Dr-Phil. Janianton Damanik, M.Si, adalah Guru Besar Departemen Pembangunan Sosial dan Kesejahteraan FISIPOL UGM, dosen Prodi S2/S3 Kajian Pariwisata, Sekolah Pascasarjana UGM. Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pariwisata menjadi fokus perhatiannya.
