This book raised the theme “State of The Art of Public Administration: Public Sector Reform and Innovation Toward the World-Class Bureaucracy In 2045’.” We selected this theme to bring together scholars, bureaucrats, and professionals worldwide to explore and exchange ideas about how public sector reform and innovation practices should be carried out to achieve a world-class bureaucracy in Indonesia in 2045. It is crucial because governments in various countries, including Indonesia, strive to improve the quality of the bureaucracy towards world-class through a public sector reform and innovation agenda. World-class bureaucracy is a goal that must be pursued because it directly influences quality public services, efficient resource management, and a country’s competitiveness on the international stage.

Through public sector reform and innovation, an effective and efficient bureaucracy can be realized and provide faster, more accurate, and timely services to the community. By using sophisticated information and communication technology, administrative processes can be optimized, minimizing complicated bureaucracy and increasing public satisfaction.
